    Process

A consistent transaction process from onboarding to settlement

Every Crest Metals transaction follows the same process and is managed by a single accountable team.

    The transaction process

The same sequence applies to every counterparty, whatever the size of the transaction.

    1. Onboarding

Every new counterparty completes our onboarding, covering corporate identity, ownership, licences and source of funds or goods, with screening against applicable sanctions lists.

    2. Verification

Before goods move, we review the supporting documents, including origin and export certificates, customs records and assay reports, against the counterparty's declarations.

    3. Agreement

Pricing is referenced to recognised international benchmarks. Quantity, quality, delivery point and payment terms are confirmed in writing before execution.

    4. Delivery

Accredited partners carry out assaying, refining, vaulting and insured transport. Goods are delivered to the refiner, vault or buyer named in the contract.

    A single point of accountability

The team that completes a counterparty's onboarding manages each of its transactions through to settlement.

    Documented terms

All commercial and delivery obligations are agreed and recorded in writing before goods move.

    Early disclosure

Where a transaction cannot meet our standards, we advise the counterparty at the outset and explain the reasons.

    Specialist partners

Our partners are selected for their accreditation and track record. They include accredited refiners, independent assay laboratories, secure logistics and vault operators, and banking partners.
